County Broken System

I suffer from depression and I am looking for help. On Nov. 21, 2014 I could not leave my home. As an employee of the county I figured I am in good hands. WRONG. After running out of money and FMLA and any other resources I find myself resigning from my job (last day 5-22-2015). I have been dealing with the county agencies since Nov. 21, 2014. As of today I have not therapist nor Doctor. There is a huge lack of communication amongst agencies, hospitals and patients. Insurance says find your own doctor. County programs are more concerned if you have insurance or money ie. the Paul Elizondo Center for Mental Health. To be told "yes we know its broken" by certain county officials or employees is horrible. Can anyone seek light on a broken situation.

Hello, I have been in your shoes and I know how powerless you feel. Don't give up, ok? I have been navigating the different agencies for three years since my grandson became ill (schizophrenic). I would like to guide you through it if you want. Let me know and I will do my best to direct you to the right sources. Diana (San Antonio TX)

I am still in need of help in Bexar County. To be placed in an unfurnished apartment and still have not talked to anyone about my mental problems. I have written so many people only to be passed around like a use peace of meat.
