Responsible for eligibility determination of social services programs including; TANF, Safety Net, Food Stamps, HEAP, Medicaid, Also provides services through Child Protective and Adult Protective Units, which includes; Preventative services, Foster care, Adoption. Additionally individuals may qualify for; Childcare, Counseling, Drug and alcohol treatment, Domestic violence screening and support including safe shelter, Employment and medical related transportation, Emergency aid including Food Stamps and housing are provided where appropriate, The agency provides child support investigation, paternity establishment and collection services. DSS also provides screening, evaluation and therapies to children birth through five, with suspected or confirmed developmental delays.
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
