Food Bank of the Southern Tier

One of 8 certified food banks in NYS whose primary role is to collect, store and distribute food to people in need through a network of member agencies/programs that distribute food directly to clients; Food pantries, Soup kitchens, Daycare center, Residential programs, Shelters, Senior feeding program, etc. Also, provide technical assistance regarding; Food safety, Storage, Handling to its member agencies. Works with youth centers and organizations to establish Kid's Café a program combining education, activities, and meals to youth. Has also developed a "Produce for the People" program that distributes fresh produce free of charge.
